Hello ladies and gentlemen, I would to thank you for your interest in my campaign.

Ladies and Gentlemen, my name is Richard Smith and I would like to ask for your support in this election. We must stand together to take our country back, to take it back to the foundation that made this country great, the "Old Paths" that our founding fathers codified in the Constitution of our Nation. The Old Paths of Life, Liberty, Property, and the Pursuit of Happiness.

We need to return to limited government and fiscal responsibility and to a moral, just, and responsible society. A society where life is protected and cherished, not a society which glorifies death and the wanton taking of the most innocent of human life, the unborn.

We need to return to a society with a foundation on solid principles, those principles of morality, standards, and ethics which have defined Western Society for almost two thousand years. The foundations laid down by our Christian Heritage.

Ladies and gentlemen, this nation is blessed by GOD, this nations greatness is not because of us, it is because of GOD and HIS grace.

Every nation has its national sins, but we, unlike others have repented of those sins. Our nation has given more of its wealth, its time, and the blood of the people defending others and trying to do right. From Europe to the Pacific our people have given their lives defending liberty.

It was once said, " America is great because America is good and that when America ceases to be good America will cease to be great. "  I believe this is true.

Ladies and gentlemen, I believe America is a nation blessed by the Creator, that we are given a destiny; a destiny to be that "Light shining on the Hill", to be a nation where Freedom and Liberty shine in a world darkened by tyranny. I believe that we can acheive this destiny.

Ladies and gentlemen, I would like to represent this District in Washington if I can earn your trust and aid then we together can work to fix the problems that face our nation.
